Support
Last updated: May 2026
Welcome to StreamCoach support. StreamCoach is a native macOS camera coaching app built to help creators understand and improve the shot before going live.
Getting Started
- Choose your camera or camera profile.
- Confirm the live preview.
- Add a reference image or setup context if you have one.
- Use Analyze Shot to capture a still frame.
- Review the coaching notes and make the next practical adjustment.
What StreamCoach Looks At
StreamCoach is designed to reason from the actual frame and the setup around it. Depending on what you provide, coaching may consider:
- Face brightness and exposure
- Color temperature, tint, and saturation
- Background brightness and subject separation
- Lighting balance and setup notes
- Camera profiles and reference looks
- Supported camera controls, including OBSBOT launch support
Still Frames, Not Continuous Video
StreamCoach analyzes captured still frames from your camera preview. It is not designed to continuously upload live video.
Calibration & References
You can import a reference image for a camera profile so StreamCoach can compare your current frame against a trusted look. Reference images and setup data are stored locally unless you choose to include them in connected coaching features.
Scopes & Visual Tools
StreamCoach may include monitoring tools such as false color, waveform, RGB parade, vectorscope, or skin-tone references. These are meant to support practical decisions without forcing every creator to think like a broadcast engineer.
