StreamCoach is designed around local camera review on your Mac. You can use the app without creating an account or providing personal information.

Information StreamCoach Collects

StreamCoach does not sell personal information. Normal app usage is built around local camera preview, camera profiles, reference images, and app settings stored on your Mac.

Camera & Media Access

StreamCoach may request access to your camera and local image files used as calibration references. Camera access is used to display your live preview and capture still frames for review. StreamCoach does not continuously upload or stream your live video.

AI-Assisted Coaching

If you choose to use AI-assisted coaching or related analysis features, selected still frames and related setup context may be sent to an AI service for processing. This may include:

These requests are initiated by the user. The app is not designed to continuously send live video.

API Keys

API keys entered into StreamCoach are stored securely using the macOS Keychain system when supported. StreamCoach uses those keys only for requests needed to provide connected AI features.

Local Data

Most StreamCoach data is stored locally on your Mac, including camera profiles, calibration references, studio/setup context, analysis history, and preferences. Reference images are kept under your control and are not automatically uploaded.

Website Waitlist & Feature Requests

If you join the waitlist or send a feature request through this website, the information you submit may be stored so Thomas can follow up about StreamCoach or review feedback. This website does not need an account for those forms.

Analytics

StreamCoach does not currently use invasive advertising systems or third-party behavioral analytics. Future versions may include optional anonymous diagnostics or crash reporting to improve reliability.
